The day started with an intimate and touching ceremony under an arbour handmade from a special tree that had fallen at the family home. A connection to nature was important to the couple and as part of the ceremony they popped on some gardening gloves and planted a pot plant to symbolise their new start. After, everyone headed to the coffee cart for scones and jam while the couple made their way to the beautiful forest of the Dandenong Ranges for some time to soak it all in. Later that evening the families backyard was in full swing as friends and family enjoyed the games, swing music, a camp fire, marshmallows and fairy lights into the night.
