The Isle of Skye is a wonderful travel destination for nature lovers, surrounded by dramatic coasts and stunning untouched scenery at every turn.

On your journey there, on the main land you will pass by the impressive medieval Eilean Donan Castle so be sure to stop by and take in it’s majestic beauty.

There is so much nature to explore on the Isle of Skye including the Kilt Rock; which plummets down a cliff, straight into the rocks and the ocean below. The fairy pools walk is another great spot with an easy nature walk that boasts breathtaking scenery as it guides you along the River Brittle past crystal clear turquoise pools and many impressive waterfalls.

As the gentle light at sunset touches the rolling hillsides, the golden grass begins to glow as it sways in the wind creating a surreal dreamy landscape.

After a long day of hiking and exploring you can visit one the quaint little fishing villages such as Portree or Kyleakin and settle in at a local pub for a serve of rich comfort food and a pint of fine Scottish ale.

Be sure to make time to meet the friendly locals and enjoy the wonderful Scottish hospitality.
