Kotor is a breathtakingly scenic medieval town on the coast of Montenegro. The UNESCO world heritage old town sits beside a moody beautiful bay, which is often cloaked in mystic low lying fog creating a very atmospheric feeling. Kotor is made up of winding stone streets, beautiful cathedral and towers and intimate town squares where people gather to enjoy the cafe’s and nightlife.
The grand Kotor fortress surrounds the town and snakes up the impressive looming mountain above toward a crumbling Castle at the peak. Kotor’s crowning jewel is the Church of Our Lady of Remedy, which also sits majestically atop the mountain as a watchful protector.
