Bellagio is a picture perfect village perched on the shores of the calm, glassy waters of Lake Como and surrounded by mountain peaks. As you wander through the town’s charming cobblestone alleyways, the scent of fresh coffee invites you to sit at a charming corner cafe amongst the locals. Gelato shops are dotted throughout and I gladly helped my self to two scoops of pistachio and chocolate as I walked along the promenade. Como is only a short journey away, as as a much larger city there is a lot to explore there as well but it doesn’t quite have the same charm. I would gladly return to explore everything else this beautiful region has to offer.
