The former fishing village of Cadaqués is situated on the Costa Brava in the province of Girona in Catalonia, Spain.
Costa Brava roughly translates to the ‘rough coast’ and after traveling through the area you understand why, with it’s wild cliffs, unspoilt coves and rugged plant life.
Cadaqués sits beside a clear tranquil bay and is truly an unspoiled gem. It’s beautiful architecture and authentic relaxed charm has attracted many local artists and artisans over the years creating a welcoming bohemian atmosphere.
When you visit you can certainly understand why Cadaqués has enchanted so many, it is certainly a place you could easily stay forever.
